Our London residential interior designers and architects provide a unique interiors service led by our three key pillars of sustainability, aesthetics, and wellbeing. We work collaboratively with our clients to deliver a shared design vision.

We take a rational approach to interior design, celebrating the beauty inherent in materials, with carefully curated colour and texture palettes. This approach creates calming spaces that encourage relaxation and contemplation. Natural materials and finishes are specified wherever possible, for their unique surface qualities, their low embodied energy and their low VOC content.

We specialise in residential interior design for listed buildings in London, developing both concept and technical designs for our interiors, including built-in joinery, bespoke furniture, fabrics, materials and lighting. We often work with heritage properties in conservation areas. Our architects and designers celebrate the relationship between traditional period features and contemporary clean lines.

Architecture for London’s interior design team is led by practice director Ben Ridley, an architect and a BIID Registered Interior Designer. Current projects include a Victorian house in Notting Hill and a period flat in Kensington and Chelsea. Recently completed projects range from a luxury residential interior design for a Grade 2 listed house in Islington finished in limestone and tadelakt, to the fit-out of a commercial showroom in Westminster with natural flax textiles and carved solid timber joinery.
