Old Street office design

This office design and renovation on Old Street is for Stink Ltd, a digital and film production company. The company required an imaginative fit out on a tight budget, and AFL were appointed to produce concept drawings and a 3D model.

The office occupies an entire floor of a large converted Victorian furniture warehouse. New spaces included a reception area with bespoke marble desk, staff kitchen and toilets. The staff kitchen can be reconfigured to create a bar with zoned lighting for events. Moveable meeting spaces and furniture were designed to loosely partition the open plan office space.

All new elements and materials were designed to complement the existing character of the warehouse building. A palette of distressed, white oiled oak floors and joinery ties the spaces together, and draped fabric throughout suggests a theatrical performance: a screening ready to commence.
