Architecture for London has submitted a planning application for a Ladbroke Grove extension, in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This lower ground floor leasehold flat on Cornwall Crescent will be extended and refurbished to provide a large kitchen and dining room.

To the rear of the extension is a glazed courtyard, which provides light to the rear bedroom and also allows garden views in both directions from within the extension. The extension is finished in brick externally, and full height sliding glass doors lead to the garden.
The property is located on the Ladbroke estate, where houses were first constructed in the 1860s. The majority of original houses are three floors above ground, and of London stock brick with pillared porches and heavy stucco ornamentation around windows.
Project architect: Gerard Rainey
Location: Cornwall Crescent, Ladbroke Grove W11
