Architecture for London has completed an initial design session for a Belsize Park house extension. The project is a rear extension and internal refurbishment of a terraced Georgian house on Belsize Grove, in the Borough of Camden.

The property is Grade 2 listed and is part of a symmetrical terrace of seven houses built in 1825. The house is finished in stucco with a slate mansard roof. It has two principal storeys, plus mansard and lower ground floor levels.
The house lies within the Belsize conservartion area, which is notable for largely mid 19th century speculative development on a grand scale. Terraces and Italianate villas in the area have ornate classical details including grand porticos and ornate balustraded boundary walls and railings.
